The interesting part of the knife is how much engineering went into designing a knife to cut down on weight without sacrificing much in the name of function. We, in conjunction with ColorfulFilth (Paul Munko) have managed to bring a bit of fun and art to this utilitarian design. Through an inhouse process we were able to not only upgrade the materials of this tool, but have made the scales stouter and while still retaining the light weight using full titanium scales and hardware. The anodized artwork is part of the titanium scales and not merely painted on, while the desert sand in the artwork is a hardwearing ceramic coating known as Cerakote (used on everything from industrial machines, engine pistons and gun parts). This is truly the hardest customization Northern Knives has been tasked with to date. We hope you enjoy owning the knife as much as we did developing this completely unique limited run; we feel the work speaks for itself.

Paul has also outdone himself this time, extending the theme and art to a full color 12 page comic book that will come with every knife, numbered the same as the knife you pre order, signed by Paul and shipped out ahead of the knife to you to act like a certificate of authenticity of sorts.
