The FRK Series of boards from Hasegawa are the home-use version of the commercial board. It's designated as a "soft board" but still offers a robust surface ideal for a wide range of prep jobs while being kind to your knife edges.

Each Hasegawa board has a wooden core to help with rigidity and keeps its shape while creating a weight saving over solid synthetic materials. The wooden core is sterilised and fully enclosed in the plastic casing of the board and so not exposed.
